Abstract
Conventional Nuclear Medicine examinations are still valuable in pediatric endocrine system diseases and contribute to clinical evaluation. In this review, information will be given about thyroid and parathyroid diseases and adrenal gland imaging, which are frequently seen in the pediatric age group, and in which Nuclear Medicine examinations are actively used in diseases involving the endocrine system. In addition to the clinical investigation of the congenital anomalies of the related organs and their relationship with syndromes, malignant processes are also evaluated with conventional Nuclear Medicine methods, and their effective role in the treatment of malignant processes continues by pioneering theranostic applications. Since computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging are more prominent in the imaging of pituitary gland, hypothalamus, and pancreas diseases, they are not included in this review.
