ABSTRACT

This guideline summarizes briefly the opinions of the Nephrourology and Paediatric Interest group, generated by the Turkish Society of Nuclear Medicine, on how to perform renal cortical scintigraphy in children. The aim of this guideline is to help physicians yield comparable results by providing a standardized approach in imaging with common protocols and report sampling. This guideline contains the information of previous guidelines by both the Turkish Society of Nuclear Medicine and the European Association of Nuclear Medicine, last version. The information about the applications and reporting details are summarized in this guideline, and the recommendations are composed according to the laws and regulations in our country.
