ABSTRACT

This guideline describes the optimal parameters and standardized algorithm in children who are sent for dynamic renal scintigraphy to nuclear medicine department. This guideline will be held under the subtitles of indications and contraindications for the test, radiopharmaceutical choice, acquisition parameters, processing of the study, and interpretation criteria to emphasize the current practical points in daily practice. Because pediatric patients are specially taken under consideration, no general description of the procedures for dynamic renal scan is included.Key words: Renal scintigraphy, guidelines, children, renography
