ABSTRACT

This guideline has been prepared to assist nuclear medicine physicians for common gastrointestinal system scintigraphic procedures in childhood. Recommendations for all steps of the procedures from patient preparation to reporting is included in the guideline. Previously prepared guideline for gastroesophageal reflux and pulmonary aspiration has been revised, and recommendations for gastrointestinal bleeding and Meckel’s scintigraphy have been added.
