ABSTRACT

Radiobiology, which includes some mathematical models, is the study of the action of ionizing radiation on living things. In this review, linear-quadratic (LQ) model and the concepts of biological effective dose and equivalent uniform dose, which are derived from the LQ model, are described as well as the parameters of tumor control and normal tissue complication probabilities.
