ABSTRACT

The number of radionuclide treatments and the type of radiopharmaceuticals are continuously increasing during the last decade. Conventionally, the application of radionuclide therapy has been performed by fixed amount of radionuclide without considering the amount of radiation dose to the target. However, as the application is increased, more sophisticated knowledge (e.g. about the tumour biology and radiobiology) is needed in order to prevent toxicity and to get better clinical results.
